The show gives voice to and contrasts the experiences of four women: Laia and Dora, two girls who grew up in a foster family; Mari Luz, who has a long and varied career fostering children, and Guadalupe, who takes care of young migrants.
Heroïnes discovers how the earliest bonds with the family of origin have shaped their identity; and how, for each of them, foster care is an opportunity and a commitment.
