Theatrical performance techniques

Educational Centers
I offer several work proposals aimed at primary, secondary, high school, vocational training cycles and adult training centers.
Workshops where specific objectives or curricular areas are reinforced through theatrical dynamics. Most proposals can end in a public presentation that can be short and simple or more elaborate.
I create a tailor-made format based on the interests of each group of students, as well as the availability and resources of the school or center.
Based on the interests, availability and resources of each school or center, the teachers and group of students for whom the activity is intended, we specify a tailor-made format.
Courses or workshops aimed at students:
Communication skills
Body, voice, active listening and assertiveness techniques to improve oral expression both when speaking in public and in different interaction situations (debates, interviews, teamwork and conversations).
Conflict management and values education
Analysis of conflicts based on dramatizations. Work on body and vocal awareness, active listening and assertiveness to seek consensual solutions.
Mindfulness
Relaxation and movement techniques to learn to listen to your breathing, recognize how emotions are reflected in the body and focus your attention on the present moment.
THEATER GAMES
Different games and theatrical dynamics with the classroom group or smaller groups formed by students with specific educational needs. On each occasion, priority will be given to the educational objective that is most appropriate to reinforce.
Theatre in English
Games and dramatizations to practice English. As much as possible, the class will be held entirely in English.
CREATION AND PERFORMANCE OF A SHOW OR THEATRICAL ACTION
The dramaturgy or script can be totally original, based on one or several theatrical, narrative and/or poetic texts. For each occasion, the creativity of the participants will be stimulated so that as well as actors and actresses they feel like co-creators.
Advice and monitoring of the creative process of a show:
Once the group of participants and a responsible teacher have been defined, we design a work plan together to create a show. The teacher has ongoing sessions with the group. I advise throughout the entire process (choosing and/or writing text, direction, set design, costumes, etc.), through meetings and leading some of the sessions with the group of students. A show or action can be created from a theatrical text, a literary text, a piece of news or from personal or made up experiences.
